Pattern making - New work...

I am presently a Pattern maker and mouldmaker and thought I would include some recent examples of my industrial work here. Pattern making work can also be commissioned via this site.

The stone effect coasters pictured here have been produced for Bodmin Jail in Cornwall, UK.

Below is a  project that I recently completed the master patterns, moulds and finishing stages for.

 It is a Tic Tac Toe board and pieces for Jamaica Inn in Cornwall ,UK.

Below is a video presentation I made of a recent job at work. It is not intended as advertising for the drink as such, but as a demonstration of the work that I can do. I did NOT produce the initial concept image in this case, but I made the master pattern, the molds, poured the castings, constructed it, stained painted and lacquered it, photographed it and made this presentation in Moviemaker.

 We went on to produce an order for 200 of these units. The final display unit was further modified after this video was made.

 Below is a recently completed project which required me to make a ladies size seven River Island shoe into a huge replica standing 14 inches tall. Again, it was for a point of sale client who wanted the shoe for a show display piece. The shoe at the front is the real thing!

These links are resin castings and are hand finished with a pitted, oxidised effect

Scarab Beetle Project

The pictures below are of a scarab beetles cast in polyester resin and finished in a number of experimental colours and effects.

I modelled the original in wax and cast the copies from silicone rubber molds.

These Beetles are not for sale yet as they are still at an early production stage

Below is photograph of a recent project for my work. It shows a pair of resin coasters stained in natural wood colours and lacquered with polyurethane varnish. These will become available for sale. If you are interested please drop me an email.

Below is a new project that takes polyester resin castings from original historic carvings found in Hereford Cathedral.   There will be four patterns in the set.
