Looks like an iron chain?... I made a single link from MDF, applied a texture, took a silicone rubber mould, and cast them in resin. When glued and finished it hopefully fools the eye. (Part of a point of sale display for a customer where I work)

Laced Cocobolo bowl

7" x 4" Turned cocobolo bowl with lace detail, with an inset oak disk for a base. The wood will quickly oxidize and darken to almost black.
